Episoode 317: Enough Is Enough

What happens when you reach your breaking point?

In this episode, Don opens up about the moment he had to speak up for himself at work after feeling unsupported and unseen. He also reflects on the pressure of family expectations at his grandmother's 91st birthday dinner—navigating the questions about marriage and children. Lashawn flips the conversation, asking: what if your partner feels the same way and the grace to figure it out starts to run out?

We wrap up by exploring a difficult but honest question—when you see your friends caught in unhealthy cycles, when is enough truly enough for you as a friend?

This episode is full of real moments, tough conversations, and the courage to choose yourself.

So on, on, I guess we started how we usually started, rose butt thorn huh? Rose butt thorn. My rose this week was... I was gonna bring a rose today too. Oh you bought you something? You said he was gonna bring a rose today? Yeah I went to... Cause, no, an actual rose! Yo, hold the fucking phone, man. Yo, you are fucking out there.

[00:00:58] Bro. A flower! I can fly bro, I don't know what's been going on my nigga. You are bugging bro. Oh, dang it. That first check hit. Yo, it doesn't even matter bro. You can't hide it bro. Alright, continue. Yo. I'm gonna bring a rose today, a room full of men. Yo. You a freak. Yo. Oh man, rose butt thorn. Rose was... Deadpool shoe, that Deadpool shoe was fun. I peeped that.

[00:01:28] That shit was fire bro. That shit was mad fun. I can't find, that was mad fun. That shit was fire. Another, I'll give you two roses actually. It was that and... I finally got the hang of the color corrector. Ah, see? Leave me alone. My fucking, my computer was on True Tone so it gives up for orange tint. And... Yeah, Max do be doing that bullshit. And some other, some other sentence. My supervisor was like, oh, you got it. You good. I'm like, yo bro, change this on your computer. She was like, I never knew that. I was like, yeah. Um, that was my rose. Thorn?

[00:01:57] I said, thorn was my thorn. Um... You skipping your butt? Nah, butt. I mean, my butt is, um, I'm looking forward to my birthday. Okay. Trip has been booked, so... Oh shit. Everything's... Yeah, if it was just to the culture. Yeah. I guess you're gonna wake up on the day you was born, put your toes in the sand, and I get it. I see. Nah, Coach, you better go away, bro. Yeah, you gotta go away, bro. I can't front. I missed the block. The block gonna be big. I missed the block. Let me tell you something. Nobody on your block is gonna be gone.

[00:02:26] Them niggas don't give a fuck about you. If they gone, they probably got killed. Oh my days. And if they got killed, then you shouldn't have been there. Shouldn't have been on the block. Exactly. So, everything on that block will be there when you get back. Nigga wanna be a neighborhood scholar so bad. I'ma be in a pool with a Montclair on. Nigga, why not? Nigga, live your life. Nigga, on the sand with Tim's on. Nigga, live life. You don't got no places you wanna see in the world? I'll make a list. I've seen some places, so I'll make a list. You ever been to Milan? As an adult, as an adult. You've been to Milan, you've been to Paris. I went to Milan as a child. That was his... You don't remember that?

[00:02:56] You don't remember that? I do. You don't remember that. That was an experience. You know why I remember it? Cause as soon as we got off the plane, there was a bomb threat in the airport. Oh, so you remember back then, that's it? That shit fucked me up, that's it. But nah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's nothing that you saw on TV like, yo bro, I wanna go there. Nah, I'm definitely gonna do it. I'm gonna make a list of places that I need to see. Yeah, bro. Enjoy life, man. And I got good PTO. Unlimited. Shit, me. Live life, bro. We don't gotta always go to, you know, shout out to my man Skrill's. Fuck is it? Enjoy a Skrill's party? Fuck that. They can go live life. Shout out to Skrill's. Hey, shout out to Skrill's, man. Shout out to the den.

[00:03:27] Yeah, that shit was pretty... Whatever. So you got your trip booked? Yeah. Shorty booked it. That's nice. Shout out to her. Must be nice. Yeah. It's good. It's good. It's good. Um... Thorn? What's my thorn? I'm gonna be honest with you. You don't got no... You don't have to have one. Yeah, I don't really gotta have one. Yeah, you don't have to have one, dude. I was gonna say I was a little tired, but I wasn't like super tired. I was like, it's a pretty great week.

[00:03:57] Pretty good week, man. That's fly. That's good, man. You don't have to have one. Yeah. Um... For me, I was definitely gonna bring an actual flower rose. I'm gonna tell y'all because I went to my sister... I went down to my sister's apartment. You know, she lives in my basement. Yeah, I'm gonna say my basement. I paid her bills. I paid her bills. I paid her bills. Nah, but uh... Like she had like all these roses that were just laid out. She wasn't using them. I don't know what she was using them for. I was like, I should bring them to the pod and like just hand them out to the... Oh, so you're trying to give us like left...

[00:04:27] You're trying to... No, I was gonna give y'all a rose for y'all roses that y'all said, but I forgot. That's it. I was just trying to be, you know what I mean? Interactive. You know what I'm saying? Talk about a... What are we talking about? The gifts again? What? Give a nigga a gift that he's gonna give somebody else? Nah. Nope. It's alright though. Next week, next week. Okay. But uh, my rose for this week, uh, definitely, definitely release week, man. Uh, we finally dropped Reigns EP. Uh, yeah.

[00:04:56] Yeah, give it up y'all, give it up. Oh no, no, it's been, it's been a, it's been a great feeling. We put a lot of fucking work into that shit, so it feels really, really good for it to be out into the world, and it's being received really well. Um, organically, as we do with everything. We don't pay for nothing. You know what I'm saying? We don't pay for no streams. You know what I'm saying? We do the shit out in the mud, so I'm proud of him. Um, so that... Proud of you too. We proud of you, Rain. I said proud of you too.

[00:05:26] Oh, me? Thanks brother. So, yeah, it looks so. Um, my bud, I'm looking forward to... Looking forward to the, to the, I'm actually looking forward to the music doing, doing more than what we're kind of used to. I think, I feel a different energy around it so far, and if, you know, if we really live by what, like I told Rain, like we live by what the title of the project is, then we could definitely change his, uh, his trajectory as an artist.

[00:05:53] So, I'm looking forward to that because I feel like there's a lot of people that were, that are listening now that weren't listening before. So, um, we, I'm definitely looking forward to taking advantage of that. And just like Don, I don't have a thorn this week. I had a pretty solid week. Work was solid. And yeah, I'm getting the hang of things. So, I'm chilling. Nice. Uh, Rose, live to see another day. Uh huh. So, keep it like that.

[00:06:21] Uh, bud, I look forward to coming home and putting my cold feet on somebody's daughter's butt. This nigga's talking about putting his feet on... It's coming soon, ladies. On somebody's hindquarters is crazy. Yeah, facts, bro. You come home mad late to a cold ass bed. Both sides are cool. Oh, dang. The train got up. And it's just like you left it. Oh, man. Um, uh, thorn. I have a thorn. Oh, no.

[00:06:50] Yo, we, I don't know what the airline industry gotta do. Oh, no. But, we gotta figure out how flight attendants could get paid as soon as we sign in. My first day, my report time was 415. A.M. No, P.M. Okay. 415 P.M. And it was delayed six hours. And I feel like I was losing so much of my life just sitting there. Oh, I thought you, I thought you get paid once you get in the airport, you said. Nah, nah. We get paid, but uh... Once they take the brakes off the... Yeah.

[00:07:20] So, just sitting there for six hours not getting paid. I couldn't go back home. It's not like I could've went back home and come back. That was a waste. I feel like we, we gotta fix that. I don't know, I don't know how that's gonna get fixed, but there's no way I come into work on time, ready, prepared, and something happens that's not in our control, and... Now you're just looking at people in their faces. Facts. So... And they looking at you like, what? What's going on? Yeah. Yeah, no, well, no, we had to get off the plane because... After a few hours.

[00:07:51] Nah, there was a mechanical issue. Jesus. So, we were still delayed and we was waiting for a new plane. So, it took six hours for a new plane to get there. So... Man. Yeah, that gotta change, man. That gotta change. I promise you. I don't even think we need a raise. I don't think the raise is necessary. If we get paid from the... That'd be nice too. If we get, if we, that'd be nice too. That'd be nice too. But if we change the work rules, we're... As soon as I get into that motherfucker. As soon as we sign in, we get paid.

[00:08:20] And our full... We get paid for our full duty day. I think a lot of... I think a lot would change. Just throwing it out there. Whoever's listening. If it reaches the higher powers, that so be it. You know? Mm-hmm. I'm pretty sure you'll get less call outs too. No, he's onto something, yo. Yeah. Fix that shit. For a fact though, I ain't gonna front sit in there. You just be like, bro, I'm on my phone for hours. My nigga gets to the point while you're bro. Bro, and the crazy thing, I left all my charges home. What you mean? Your fucking phone charge?

[00:08:50] All my phone charges was home. On purpose or accidentally? Accidentally. So you went to Newstown and bought a charger? Hell yeah. $23, eh? Hell yeah. Even with the discount. Damn. Discount, what was it? 10%, 5%, 10%? Y'all don't got lightnings on the planes in the tuck somewhere? Nah. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. Man. Yeah. But nah, it was a good work trip though. It was a one-to-one. So nothing too crazy.

[00:09:18] The first day, it cut into our layover. That sucks. Cause I had a 20 hour in Kansas City. Oh, you did tell us you were going there. Nigga was in Missouri. Yeah, they got good barbecue out there. Um, so yeah, I missed out on that. So I slept the whole day in. And then, uh, two flights, uh, Salt Lake, no, Kansas to Salt Lake, Salt Lake to Denver. And then my Denver flight coming home was delayed.

[00:09:49] That's weather though. Can't complain about mother nature, but it would be nice to get paid from the start of the duty day to the end of the day. If you're listening. You know. It seemed like a nice thing though. If I'm inside the plane, it'd look nice to you. Nah, it's always a beautiful view flying into Denver and, uh, and Salt Lake. It's always beautiful. And, and, and the turbulence. You gotta love it. You don't gotta do nothing. Nah, you just sit down. Well, we do something. We stay safe. That's the most important thing. That's what I'm there for. Mm-hmm.

[00:10:19] Stay, make sure y'all stay safe. And myself too. Mm-hmm. So. Well, glad you're home. That's about it. Yeah, facts. Yeah, welcome home. As long as I, uh, get back home, I don't really trip. That's always, that's always gonna be my, my, my roles. But I do look forward to, you know, you put your nice cold feet and she got a little attitude. Oh my God. Come on. LaShawn. Shut up. You missed this. Yeah. Facts. Facts. I look forward to that. But, uh, damn, where we at today? I'm gonna talk it today, fuck.

[00:10:48] Um, oh, therapy of course. Of course. Hey. Hey, Miss Linda. Hey, Miss Linda. Uh, we actually, we actually cracked the code on how I'm intimidating, but we ain't gonna talk about that today. Thank God though. Uh, thank God. Thank God. Saying thank God you cracked the code. No, no, no, no. That shit roguelike. Fuck that therapy. Thank God we not talking about that. No, no, no, no, no, no. That's not me. I like her.

[00:11:12] Um, we got, uh, I like this. Um, well, first I wanna ask y'all, um, you can see Don? I don't know. I don't know. Shit, my fucking head's starting to hurt. Don, you got something here. Uh, when is enough enough? Oh no. That's more of like, the reason I wrote that is because I was just sitting, I would think it was at work. And it was grumpy.

[00:11:42] Nah, it wasn't more of a grumpy, it's more of like, it's more boundaries, more of a thought of boundaries and when telling like, so when I first started shooting at my job, the art director would say shit like, yo, you know, give him some time, don a little slow with the shooting. Hey. He said that another time, I was like, yo bro, don't say that no more bro. He said, wait, what? He said, don a little slow with the shooting sometimes cause I'm like, I'm learning how to do, when I'm doing tech shots. So tech is, say I have to take a picture of Joe's, that emblem right there, this emblem

[00:12:12] on his shirt. Like I gotta take pictures of all of that. Then I do the lifestyle. So he'd be like, yo, Don move a little slow with the tech and all that, give him some time. I'm like, yo bro. He said it again, I was like, yo, stop saying that. Like stop, like I had to have my boundaries. Enough, enough. Woulda lift that nigga up. What the fuck you talking about? I'm a little slow. But is he telling the crew to be patient with you? Yeah, but he's saying it in a horrible way, but I was like, yo bro, enough. I don't like how he's saying it though. Yeah, it's not, what he's saying is not. It's just how he's, say how he's delivered, the delivery is dirt. Like what you mean?

[00:12:41] So what you said to him? I was like, yo bro, you gotta stop saying that bro. That shit kinda bother me, my nigga. Like, tell me I'm slow, it's like, like I'm moving slow. Don't say that bro, cause I'm, I just got here bro. Yeah. You talking about my higher up is nigga, she been here for five years bro. She started this photography shit here. I literally just got doing this shit. I feel you. So I'm like, enough of that shit bro, enough. I'm not saying you wrong. Yeah. But did you explain? Or did you just tell him stop saying it? No, I explained to him. Oh, okay, okay. I explained to him.

[00:13:10] And the thing is, that's easy to understand. It's just, it's probably just a word change that you may have to use. Yeah. He might have to just take that word out. Be patient. Yes. Everybody knows that he's new here. Yeah. So guys, just be patient. Yeah. But telling a nigga that he's slow, bro. He got to the point like, yeah, I fuck with some, but it's like, bro, I looked at him and I said, I ain't gonna lie. How did he receive that? He was like, yeah, my fault, my fault. You right. You right. I should have never said that. You right. Okay. Yeah. Okay.

[00:13:39] For my first thought, it's like, yo, I had to swivel with this nigga, bro. Watch your mouth, bro. I just got here. Watch your mouth. Yeah. The fact that violence is my first thought, it's like, bro, I don't like that you told me like this, bro. Cause now I'm looking around the room like, damn. Now I start thinking like, I don't belong here anymore, nigga. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Like, I might not be good. That's what I'm like, nah, enough. See? And enough of that too. Enough of what? Self-doubt? Enough. Enough. Enough. I feel you. So that's what made me think about enough is enough. Enough is enough. What was your...

[00:14:08] No, cause I'm new at my job too. So if I would've, if somebody would've been saying that to me within these first three weeks, and like, I'm sure everybody, these are things that everybody knows. Kojo is new here. Mm-hmm. If something's not on time or it's not what, what it was like before, it's not because he's not capable or he's not good at it. Mm-hmm. It's because he's new and that's it. Mm-hmm. If this is, like I said, I made three weeks. If I, if, if in another three weeks I'm still doing the same thing, then I can, you

[00:14:37] can, I guess you can start to question if I'm understanding my role in my job. But if that's not the case, be patient and let's, let's cook. Like, let's be great. So when, uh, when does grace expire or does it ever expire? I don't think it ever really expires. It's, I think it's, it's depending on the individual and the circumstance. If you, if the, if, if the person has been taught correctly and they, and they're just not, and they're not equipped to learn the information or to learn the skill that they need.

[00:15:07] Mm-hmm. It's not really about grace at that point. You have to make the proper decision for the betterment of the situation. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I had nothing to do with grace, but if somebody is capable and there's external circumstances that are causing whatever rift, that's when grace should be extended. Mm-hmm. And that should be periodic. Even if I am a year in at my role and some shit fuck up and you understand that I'm capable and I'm not doing it out of just pure neglect and like, no, I care.

[00:15:35] You, you do the work to find out if grace should be applied in this situation. And even said, um, with, even with the grace, it's more of like, am I being trained properly? Yeah. Like even, I had a conversation with my higher up. She was just like, yo, when we had a conversation about the full time shit, she was like, yo, we going, we going to prolong. We going to do the part time a little longer. Cause I feel like you're getting it, but you're not getting it all the way. I'm like, I keep it a buck with you. I feel like niggas, when it's my time to shoot, niggas be gone.

[00:16:03] I'm like, my nigga, like everybody just dip on my, oh bro. But when you shoot in, everybody's there to assist. I'm like, bro, I need, I need support. I need to be helped. I need to be trained. Like you want me to do it a certain way for the brand? Teach me. Don't just, I knew you got shit to edit, but just show me, show me a way. Make sure you're speaking up for yourself at all. Yeah, not for a fact though. Cause I told her when we had a one-on-one, I'm like, oh bro, nigga, when I got to style them, I got to shoot, I got to, I got to come up with a creative way to shoot. I'm like, oh my nigga, I ain't going to front bro. In a moment. And video has to come after.

[00:16:32] So I have about an hour, hour and change to knock all of that shit out. Yeah. It's like probably 10 garments the most. Then I have four models. Like bro, I got it. And they all got to wear the shirts. So it's like, yo bro, I need to be tall. I need to be like, she, she gives me the grace. So I give her that. How you found your voice at work? To be honest with you. Cause that get tricky. That's tough. Cause I don't want to be, I don't want to be too aggressive, but I don't want to be too soft. That, that shit came from him, his back being up against the wall. Nah, cause it's like, yo, damn, I'm a form.

[00:17:02] I'm going to be honest with you, bro. It's the niggas giving me the, extending the part time. I was like, yo, nah, my nigga. Now? No, no. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then even talking to Roy, Roy was like, my nigga, what you, how you going to, nigga going to speak up or you going to let the niggas talk to you like that? I'm like, yo, bro, stop talking like that. He said, you see how you said that to me? Talk to them like that, but don't talk to them like that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like if you don't, if you don't voice how you feel, niggas will never know. Yeah. That's like, even in a relationship, you don't tell, sure. You're like, oh, I didn't like how you said this. Real shit though. If you don't tell your partner, like I don't like how you said this. And shit keep going. So what's the difference?

[00:17:32] You know why I keep my mouth shut sometimes and that's, I don't want to sound like I'm nitpicking, bro. But I be like, I... But how often do you nitpick though? How often do you do that? That's the question. I don't know if it's going to be considered nitpicking if I want to see the change. It's not, it's not, I think it's not, I think it's you saying it's nitpicking. So I don't like, so, alright, so say you do something, say you did something yesterday. Cool. We talk about it. You do something else today. I might let it slide cause I just complained about something. You're right though, you're right though. You're right though.

[00:18:04] I do everything wrong. Oh my God. I just don't want to deal with that. I don't want to deal with that. I think every human do that though. But I think, yeah, I probably... Nobody complains every day. But you know what is the worst part about it? If today's situation was worse than yesterday, but I just complained about something yesterday. So I'm like, I say you did something yesterday, something as small as... You left the toilet seat up. Cool. Yeah. We can keep it cool like that. Right?

[00:18:31] And then I come back today. I realized, yo, the iron is still plugged in. Stupid. Oh, nah, nah. I ain't gonna lie. Nah, we got an issue bro. I ain't gonna lie. That ain't no life shit. I'm about myself. So don't like to get on me. So in my mind I'd be like, ah, I just... We just had a long discussion about the toilet. Do I really... And then the same thing, yo, I guess I do everything wrong. Yeah. Now do you...

[00:18:59] When it's a bigger issue, do you be like, yo, after you just said something, it's like, yo, do I be like, yo, babe, I'm not gonna lie to you. You left the iron on. Like you gotta... Yeah. Slow down. I'm not gonna lie to you. Come here. Come here. Come here. Look at that. What is this? And now it turns into why you keep talking like I'm a child? You know what's crazy? That was tricky. That was tricky. I'm full. I'm full. I'm full. I was tricky. That was my fault. That was my fault. I'm about to make another joke, but I ain't gonna make a joke. That's what that was on me. Oh, man.

[00:19:30] Oh, man. It's all good when I'm daddy though. It's like a while. Um... But yeah, so you kinda, you kinda... But that was one of the things that, um... I said I would've, uh, that that episode would be on its own. But the thing about, uh, uh, me being intimidating is how I speak to people. Mm. Or how I say things. So, maybe lightening the approach. Mm-hmm. Not hitting the gavel so hard on certain things. Um...

[00:19:59] I'm like that. I think I like to make a joke out of everything that I won't consider. Well, y'all know I don't drag shit much. So, like, I won't... If I don't consider it longer than, uh, the issue going to be longer than the moment or the day, I'll probably make a joke out of it more times than not after the fact. Like... So, you do that to psych yourself out? Nah, not even... And I'm not saying a joke as if like a hee-ha-ha. Like, I'll express how I feel, but also letting it know like, yo, this is just how I feel. I'm not about to drag this. It's just what it is.

[00:20:29] Like, this is not... The feeling that I'm feeling now does not dictate the grander feeling of who I am in this situation. Do you do that in, um, in bigger situations? Uh, so that's... I mean, that's a little different because it takes more work in those, right? Mm-hmm. I don't think I'm the same way now. Okay. Nah. But, you know, if it's something like an iron being plugged in... That's angle front. You said you did that two days in a row though. Yeah. That's kind of crazy though. Maybe one, Kwani. But that... That's... For me, that was just like...

[00:20:59] It's the time... Like, the mornings... I'm still adjusting to the mornings. Mm-hmm. So, my brain ain't really all the way there yet. But, I know I did it... I... When I walked in the crib and I saw that I had it plugged in, good thing my iron has itself... The self... Yeah. ...self turn off. But I'm like, alright, this will never happen again because it never... It was never something that I did before. Well, you came back to a morning routine, so what's up? It's such an oddity, so I'm not really worried about it, but, um... Now, I want to ask you the question, Adelaide. Do you...

[00:21:29] What is the difference between being blunt and being straightforward? Depending on who you're talking to. I think that's the answer. Yeah, depending on who you're talking to sometimes. Uh... You say you like the intimidating thing. Now, I know we don't get into it, but... Now, being blunt... I feel like when you're blunt, when you're blunt, you're trying... There's a little bit more force behind it, opposed to being straightforward. Like, I could be... I could be straightforward.

[00:21:58] You can have a straightforward approach without being blunt, in a sense. Um... I guess... More people are blunt when enough is enough. Mm-hmm. Like, when they get that reaching point, they're like, there's no way I'ma keep... Like, if I gotta fluff everything that I say, then... So, blunt is not fluff? Blunt is... Blunt is like... Is usually hurtful? Is that? It can be. So, can being straightforward, too? Yes. I mean, now I understand what you mean by the person you're talking to.

[00:22:27] But you could be straightforward in a sense of... Like, I could be straightforward with you in a sense of... A direction I want without being blunt, per se. So... I think being blunt would be adding some shit into the conversation that does not help. Bro, you don't understand what I'm saying? Yeah. That's not even really being blunt, though. Yeah, yeah. That's just like...

[00:22:55] I'm talking about, like, adding a detail that still may be true. Mm-hmm. However, it does not benefit the grand point of what you are trying to say. You know what I'm saying? Mm-hmm. Like, it may be in relation... Mm-hmm. ...but it is not gonna help get, you know, you to where you want. When's the last time you said to yourself enough is enough? I looked it up just now. What? What? Someone who is straightforward gives facts or opinions in a neutral or helpful way. Neutral.

[00:23:23] Someone who is blunt gives facts or opinions in an unkind or rude way. Ah. But... So, to be blunt... Okay. A blunt person means to express oneself in a direct or straightforward manner, often without softening or sugarcoating, and sometimes at the expense of tact or diplomacy. As... I didn't understand what y'all said before. It was like, oh, it depends who you're talking to. Yeah. In fact. Because you could talk to somebody... You could say the same thing twice. And they'll take it as like, oh, wow.

[00:23:53] Oh, you could... We could say something generally in the room, and Quanee may receive it one way, and Joe receive it one way. Joe may be like, yo, that was mad blunt, Alishawn. And Quanee would be like, yo, that was straightforward. Quanee sometimes can be blunt. Yeah. Most times. But... But... It just depends. It depends. Because if we know... Like, all right, let's say we all in a room together at an event.

[00:24:23] And there are other people there. And they're listening to us talk. Like, we in your basement. We chopping it up. Quanee say something. We gonna take it as that's Quanee. Niggas went, whoa. Yeah. That's y'all friend? Yeah. That nigga mad blunt. That nigga smile like that nigga blunt. So... It depends. It depends. But... That goes to the old saying, it's not what you said, it's how you say it.

[00:24:53] It's not what I said, it's how you receive it. That's some bullshit. Oh. Oh. That's not what I meant, but yeah. No, I'm just saying though. That's a good challenge. Like how I'm... Like bro, like I'm... Me and my show are having conversations like, yo bro, I'll be texting. And she was like, yo, why'd you say that? I said, I called her. I was like, yo bro, I ain't on the front. I'm gonna say it to you on the phone. I said to you, she was like, oh, that's how you said it? I said, yeah bro, like I didn't mean it like that. That's how you said it. I didn't mean it like that. Well, that's a good point on how you receive it. Dude, text...

[00:25:19] I made a promise to myself, I'm gonna stop having like serious conversations via text because the receiver... We're not gonna... You're not gonna be upset with me based off of your... The way you are. Cause you're reading it in your mind. The way you interpreted it. Yeah, yeah. You put a tone on there with no tone. You put seasoning on there and it was dry. You know what I'm saying? We... Nah.

[00:25:44] So anything serious like that, either voice note it, call me, FaceTime me, something. So I can see it, hear it, but I'm not gonna go off of an assumption off of a message. But sometimes you can tell, you can tell when people are being a little passive through the... When they start, uh... When they start using their doctorate degree and, you know... Niggas start using... Punctuating... The SAT words? Yeah. Niggas start using crazy words like, yo bro, I ain't never seen you take that shot before.

[00:26:13] I ain't never seen you take that shot before. That's how you practice that shot. You ever see somebody indent on... In debt? Oh, I know. This thing is... I saw this thing a series. Niggas wrote a paragraph. In debt on a text message? Yeah. Like, I... I see a nigga in debt in metal. I'm like, how? Damn, son. Damn, boy. When she in debt with that... Nah, that'd be tough. And then when you get the text message where it had the little arrow in the bottom... Like, nigga... Oh, that's a lot. Like, nigga, I can tell you... You didn't type the shot on your phone. You went to your computer, my nigga. Like, you...

[00:26:43] Copy to paste. Well, fuck it with the chat, GBT, nigga. I wrote it in notes first. Command C, then command V'd it. But, um, when was the last time y'all said enough is enough, though? Hmm. In your personal life, it don't have to be, you know... Well, shit. Well, it might've been... It might've been just like the, um... When I restarted my, like, job search the real, real, real way. Hmm. Cause I can admit that throughout the whole journey, the long, long journey that it was,

[00:27:13] I hit a point where I was coasting about it. Hmm. Um, and I'd had this mentality of like... Well, I still have the mentality. I always have the mentality. I'm gonna be alright, so we'll figure it out, figure it out. Hmm. But then I hit a point where I was like, oh, nah, like... This life, this coasting is not it. Mm-hmm. And enough is enough. I can't say for sure that the fruits of my labor are because I made that decision that enough is enough. Hmm. But I'm going to take...

[00:27:41] I'm going to take my, my, my victory lap and say that the mentality switch is why I put that energy into the air. Mm-hmm. And that's why the blessings came my way. So, once I decided like, alright, I'm gonna really, really, really, really, really, really put myself out there, show my talents, be way more consistent than I have been being. Mm-hmm. I, that was the last time I said enough is enough. And it worked out in my favor, so... Sure, sure. I can't, and I know I'm always big on, you know, LA we've been talking, I'm like, yo, confirm it. Confirm it before you feel like... Mm-hmm.

[00:28:11] I can't confirm that, but... Confirm what? Like, you know how we were talking the other day about like, this... I guess we can bleep it. No, no, we live. So, we were talking about the other day, right? You're talking about the... About... The fake page. Being honest. Oh, okay. Yeah, and all of that stuff, right? Okay, okay, yeah. And it's about, you know, can you confirm that somebody is being, has just been dishonest with you in a moment? Mm-hmm.

[00:28:41] Or are they always dishonest? And deciding on how you were going to treat them based off of the moment or the totality, you have to confirm it, in my opinion. Mm-hmm. Because if you don't, you will always, you'll just always be in the middle. Mm-hmm. So, I'm just saying all that to say, I usually would give that perspective. Mm-hmm. But in this case, I can't confirm if me saying enough is enough is the reason why I received the blessing. It might have been the fuel. That push. It could have been. That's what I wanted to do. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So... It stopped you from being lax. It started, it started, you put fire...

[00:29:11] Possibly, yeah. So, I'll take that. How about you, Ola? Uh, enough was enough. I feel like you're going to switch it up. I don't know why, but it's one thing that got in my mind. I feel like you're going to switch it up. Nah, I don't... Um, the last time I said enough was enough. I can say one for you. Uh, probably what I saw about, uh, the number on the scale. Mm-hmm. Okay, Slimmy. Yeah, I'm down five, six. Okay. I'm down six. Okay.

[00:29:38] Um, so it was just like, I saw a number I ain't like, I'm like, all right. Yeah, I know how this nigga get. You see, he got right back to it. Like, now I'm going to the gym. Yeah, uh, that's it for me. Um, that was the last time I said enough was enough. Mm-hmm. So we'll keep it there. Yeah. Um, okay. I also have two. You do? Um, facts. I have a few, but one of the enough is enough. I even, even when you, I wrote you on TikTok the other day.

[00:30:08] Yes. That was my enough was enough when I was like, damn, man, I got to remove these negative thoughts out of my mind. So you talking about the video that I sent? Facts. I was just like, yo, bro, like the universe is always listening to you, bro. Even when you're saying this shit in your mind, it's like, yo, bro, sometimes we have those thoughts, but remove them real quick. Yeah. That was one of the TikToks where I, as soon as I opened the app, it was the first one. I'm like, oh, look at my twin. Yeah, that's the algorithm, huh? Look at my twin. You know what I'm saying? So even having those thoughts, like, that's why I'm like, yo, bro, I'm having a great week.

[00:30:35] I'm having, if something would bother me, like, that shit was, that shit was nothing. Yeah. That shit was nothing. Like, the rest of the week is going to be great. Something probably did happen at work. It was like, ah, it's whatever. I don't really care. Um, so yeah, enough is enough with the negative thoughts. Um, another enough was enough was the gym shit as well. Um, people ask me, why you go to the gym every day? I want to push myself to see how far I could go. Like I said, that thought, that enough, enough is enough came from so many things in my life, bro.

[00:31:01] Um, enough, another enough was enough was my parents, like, venting too much to me. Like, I ain't gonna front. I don't. Sometimes, like, I gotta tell them when to stop. Like, yo, bro, I ain't gonna front. You going too far. Mm. You going too far. Like, my mom is telling me certain shit, like, yo, bro, I ain't gonna front. Like, remember back in the day you said I'm not one of your little friends? I'm not one of your little friends, bro. You gotta remember that one. Or stay in the child's place. Yeah, bro. Like, yo. I'm your child. Shit like that, though.

[00:31:30] Even enough, I don't know if I had a lot of enough was enough. My fucking family asked me, yo, that's another reason where the fucking episode came from. My family kept asking me, oh, when you gonna have a kid? Yo. Yo. Alright. Damn. It's different for us. When the men get it. Niggas say, yo, when you gonna, when you gonna, um. Yeah, I think it will be different for us. Niggas say, when you gonna propose to your girl, I'm like, oh boy. I look at this nigga Mills, I say, yo, you know, you started this shit. They're gonna like, yo, I have to look at the nigga. Is that public knowledge? Yeah, niggas, I mean, yeah, I mean. Oh, alright. Shorty posted or whatever. No, she even posted. Okay, okay.

[00:32:00] Nigga Mills sent to me or whatever, but niggas go. Nice, nice. Congratulations once again. Yeah. Nigga don't care. Yeah, he, even he sat at the table. Niggas like, yo. Niggas stop it because we said my grandmother shit. Shout out to my grandma B91 and shit. Shout out to granny, yo. I don't want to. Huh? Niggas had her turn to the point where the fucking sparkler was so close ahead. I said, yo, move the fucking cake, my nigga. Cause who go, none of y'all niggas just go help her right now, bro.

[00:32:25] But, um, we sitting there, niggas asked Mills, like, yo, I heard you got engaged. The whole table looked at the nigga. Who? And I looked at him. Nigga looked at everybody. Yeah. That nigga just so notchalant. Everybody look at me. When you next? I said, yo, I'm gonna front. Let's keep it on him. I said, I looked at everybody. I said, yo, you 30, you, you 37, you 41, you this, you that. You got kids, you not married. Why are you looking at me for that? Now you blunt.

[00:32:54] That was blunt. That was blunt. That was blunt. It got to the point where it's like, yo, bro, I don't like all odds with me at that time, bro. That's what I'm like, yo, nah, enough is enough, my nigga. I gotta put my foot down. Oh, how's work going? My nigga. Yo. Damn, wait, I said, hold on, hold on. What you want niggas to talk to you about then, bro? My nigga, ask me how to, ask me something else or I see you in the gym. One of my uncles always ask me, yo, how you doing? How's the gym going? We'll have conversations about the gym and that's it. How does it look like it's going? Yeah, I'm good, nigga. But that's my man though. Like, if you ever see a picture of my uncle, you go, oh, that is your uncle, my nigga. Like that niggas look alike.

[00:33:24] But niggas ask me a question, yo, how's work? What's going on for work? I'm like, yo, boy, my first response is yo, nigga. I'm selling ass, bro. What's up? Damn, dog. Yo, boy, because you ever had those conversations? Nah, I think- Thanksgiving conversations get boring, man. I ain't gonna hold you if you just, you're fragile to those topics. Because if it was going good, everything was going good, you would answer it with such Yeah, that's probably what it is. Is that what it is? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. You have to factor in your sensitivity to these topics. I just don't even want to talk about that shit, bro. Because if shit was lit and up, there'd be so much to, you know, how's work going?

[00:33:54] Man, it's great. I just went to Rome last week. I got Venice the week after. I love it. I'm at the highest pay. Yeah. But if I was dealing with bullshit at work, I'd be like, yo, I don't want to talk about it. It's a sensitivity to it. Nah, yo, keep that shit over there. I think that plays a part in it, but I also think, who asks me it? You think they care? I think, no, it's more, they care. Yeah. Some of them just watching. I know who's watching, I know who really wants to know. Yeah, that too. Because my other cousin asked me, yo, what's going on at work? I seen you post something. Yeah. And I tell her, like, yo, I did this, I did that. She said, yo, that's fire. Yeah.

[00:34:24] Then my uncle asked me, and my aunt asked me, it's like, yo, I know you just asked me to ask me, my nigga. I got a tricky one for you, though. I got a tricky one for you. All right, so since the topic is enough, what about if it was in the reverse, and your girl's like, enough is enough, put a ring on my finger? Enough is enough, put a ring on my finger. I'm gonna go get some water. Look, hey, look! That nigga got up and it's crazy, my nigga. Joe rant.

[00:34:53] I had a similar conversation. Nigga, wedding is expensive, no? What if she's like, yo, the wedding don't really matter, let's do, let's go, I just want the ring. Yeah, hot stuff. No, stop, let me stop. Enough is enough. That's a tricky one, right? It's like, yo, am I, or do you say, yo, am I actually ready? Or am I just doing this just to please you? Oh, I would never do that. I would let the person go. I'm not... Like, if you're ready for that, and am I ready? That's like...

[00:35:21] Yeah, if I'm not ready yet, and you, and enough is enough, I understand that. My time is up. Man, we just started having fun, man! We just finally got over this shit. Where you going? Oh, nah, but... I see the polar opposite of that. Mm-hmm. I've been in those situations where I was told enough is enough. Mm-hmm. That's such an aggressive term too, though.

[00:35:49] It could be blunt or straightforward depending on how you... Right, man, yeah, it depends on how you achieve it. Yeah, yeah, it could be. Because we talked about it earlier when the patients run, you know, the grace has, you know, run its course. Is this something we need to keep teaching you on? Or do you need to be, or do we need to replace the situation? You can't teach a man when he's ready to marry somebody. You can't teach that, bro. But... Hot damn. I don't want...

[00:36:17] I'm gonna put you in the hot seat though, Joe. No, don't put me in the hot seat. You don't want to pop? I don't want to pop. I don't want to pop. I don't want to pop. But I will say, I was always consistent and said that for me, it love will and was never ever going to be an issue. It's always about can I really live this life that I'm opening the door to? And if the answer is no for me, I'm not doing it. I don't give a fuck, bro.

[00:36:46] And because I didn't do it doesn't mean I didn't love you. Yeah. Like, I feel like... You think that's how they... No. They ain't not gonna hear that shit. But to be honest with you... See, blunt would have been easy if so. But straightforward would be... I understand. I can understand that you may look at me at the rest of your life as the person who wasted your time. You know what? I ain't even gonna start again. You know what I'm saying?

[00:37:16] But... You might thank me. In the long run. Word. Because if I'm willing to let you go and not stall this out, not drag this out... Yeah, since you want this shit so damn bad... Or put you in an uncompromising position to feel like, damn, he only did this because he was forced. He didn't do it because he generally wanted to do this. So, I get both sides. But some women would be like, well, you ain't died though. Like...

[00:37:47] Physically. Physically. That nigga dragging his feet. I died the moment I said I do. I remember I was talking to Khadija. She was like... That was my wedding and funeral. You know, your friends are always gonna tell you to have babies, right? You can figure it out when you get there. I'm like... Nah, that's not a sport I wanna figure out. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, man. That ain't a test. Learn on the job type of thing. Because it's true.

[00:38:14] You know, she said when she had Giselle seven years ago, like, I was in a way better position than her as far as like financially and all that stuff and all that. And she was like, yeah, you could've done it then. I'm just like... I ain't feel the confidence, right? And yeah, she's made it through. She's like superhuman when it comes to this mother shit. And I'm impressed every day. Like, Giselle never asked or worried for anything. And I'm just like, well, I don't know how you did it, but I'm good not knowing. Like, I'm cool.

[00:38:41] I think for most people when your back is against the wall, you gonna figure it out. God gonna figure it out for you. As long as you keep that faith, you keep going. Just don't nut in her, bro. Just don't nut in her and figure it out. You don't have to figure it out. I agree. You got control until you don't got control. You got control until you don't, son. I agree. That'd be a joke. I know it's tough sometimes. You know what I'm saying? But think about it. Think about the diapers. Think about the doctor visits. Think about the noise.

[00:39:11] Think about the fragility of just... Do y'all think y'all mentally ready for that, though? Mentally? Uh... Mentally? There are days where I feel like I'm mentally ready for that. Oh, for sure. No, just see me around my godchildren. You'd be like, nah, this nigga Joe is a parent. You give him back, Joe. I do. Which is true. But I'm saying, as far as... Like, just the safety they feel with me. That's the thing, though. I'm just like, oh, y'all know who I am. Y'all understand who I am in y'all life. And I think I've done a great job with these two girls, Violet and Giselle both. Like... And I'm on my niece.

[00:39:41] Like, they are, like, attached to me in some type of way. And it's just... It feels good to know that. And then that helps my mental. Like, I can do this. Mm-hmm. Like, even better. Like, when it's my own. My own flesh and blood? I know I can do it. Okay. Just wait, though. Please. Okay. Please, be patient. What about you, Ella? About fatherhood? Yeah. I'ma smoke that shit. Yeah. Yeah, that's light. It's who I'm doing this parenthood shit with. That's the real...

[00:40:11] That's the real shit for me. So, enough will never be enough. I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna wait to make sure that I feel comfortable going into that... You know, things change. People change. Situations change, right? But, I'm not going into it rocky. Mm-hmm. Or... Niggas dead. Niggas having a kid just to... Just to have a situation. To survive for the baby shower. People have kids just to help the fucking relationship. Environment? Oh, no. Oh, really? Okay.

[00:40:40] That's why they doing it? I've seen people do... That's interesting because, uh... Some will say, uh... The baby's ruined it. Yeah. Were you saying niggas is trapping a dream girl? It could be both ways. We got a permanent connection? Yo, niggas, stop doing that! Please! I mean, I see the vision, right? I'm putting a public service announcement out. What? Stop breeding these fine-ass women just to say I did it, bro. Stop!

[00:41:09] Save some for us! Please! Why? Every time you go on their page, it's a little gremlin running around? That, and then you snoop the page, you scroll through... And he not there. You see the baby shower pictures and it's just hot posted up. Don't know. Yo, niggas, stop! Don't... Save some for the... Please! Niggas, that's gonna stay, nigga. Niggas, you taking three. That's mad greedy. That's the gluttony the Bible was talking about. Save some for us! Please!

[00:41:40] There's a few out there running around with no kids, man. Holla at me! Niggas said, I need a baddie with no baby. What? A gently used baby mama? A gently used baby mama's crazy. You know what I'm saying? You go to the car dealership, you gotta figure out it was gently used, man. Oh my gosh. Save some for the real niggas, man, who actually wanna be parents and wanna raise a family. Oh, he's spitting right there.

[00:42:09] Stop breeding in these girls just so you can keep them in your life some ways now. I feel like that's a part of some... That's a subgroup of man culture. It's like, yo, you... But it's intertwined with the other culture! You know what I see it as? I see it as when we was younger, like... Me and you would've been perfect if you ain't had that nigga, bro. When we was younger, right? L.A. Swollen. I watched a lot of niggas have like the it couple in high school, the young, like... Like when they was young and fly, like...

[00:42:38] Y'all might not grow to be the best couple ever, but if I seed it now, I at least got 18 years in her life. 26. I'm extending this contract. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? 26 for the health insurance, right? That's that rookie extension. And then this gives me enough time to maybe you fall in love with me when I become older and mature. Facts! They gonna use the first three years, you know what I'm saying? That first three year window, you know, because...

[00:43:07] Oh, I want my child to grow up with a family. So they gonna hold on for as long... Now we gotta wait till the nigga could talk. About four years old, then you got a little personality on him. Now he gonna tell you you not his dad. You're not my dad. Yo, stop! Save some for the niggas who actually wanna do this shit, yo. But yeah, enough is enough. Enough is enough with them niggas? Enough is enough. Um...

[00:43:36] But yeah, I think, uh... I think when you reach... When you reach that breaking point, I think that's the worst when you get to that enough is enough. When you reach that breaking point, cause then you come out blunt. Mm-hmm. There is no way cause you took this silent beating mentally, emotionally... And the frustration shows. And then the frustration shows and then you look crazy. Now you're the villain. Yeah, yeah.

[00:44:04] So that's what I was saying. But then I'll... Not to mention with Granny's Dinner, I think... I think... Shout out to Granny. I think, uh... She makes it. We also have to self-evaluate those sensitive topics. Cause I've also been hit with the, oh, when you in, um... When you gonna have some kids. When you gonna do this. And when you gonna do that. Okay, Sean. Um... You got your own place now.

[00:44:35] When you first got your place, you was like, oh, I ain't gonna do nothing cause I just moved in. Mm-hmm. Okay, you fully furnished now. It's a lot of good furniture in here. Yeah. So it's like, what's the hold up? So then you gotta really self-evaluate. Okay, was these things that I was saying just a filler? Mm-hmm. To avoid answering the truth? Mm-hmm. Cause now that it's all here, what, okay... Mm-hmm. Job. Your own crib. Mm-hmm. Furnished now. Mm-hmm. What's now? Now what's the new excuse?

[00:45:04] Is there an excuse? You run out of excuse. Enough is enough. Enough is enough when you run out of excuses. So now it's like, all right, can I get what I want now? Because I was patient enough for you to have all of this. Mm-hmm. Rocked out with you. Now you got it. What's the hold up? Damn, is that pressure, bro? That sounds like some pressure. Hell yeah! Hell yeah! But that's pressure to a nigga who not ready for it. This whole shit called life is full of pressure, bro.

[00:45:34] Life is pressure. Damn. Half the reason why we got to where we at is because of the pressure of life. We didn't coast through life from one to 30. It was mad pressures that bounced us to this situation. I was coasting until about 11. And then you, you drove off the deep board. Well, yeah, but it's not, it's the circumstance. You go. I can't wait till you really tell that story. What is?

[00:46:04] No. No, you, well. Listen. I think you should. I was talking to somebody about it the other day. Because what I will say is you don't have to get into the depths of all the things that happen, but it should be known because there's another side of it. All you really see is the shenanigans. You get stuck in it and what happens? All right. Here's a story of somebody.

[00:46:34] You want to talk about growing out of it? Even that. Okay. Or outgrown it. Or outgrown it. That's what it is. All the revelation that came whenever it was enough, it was enough, was like, nah, I'm not doing this shit no more. Nah, it's, I wish you, I wish you were. That's a good enough is enough shit. I wish I was at, yeah, I was at Reigns listening because he did tell a story about the song when it's real because that's kind of his perspective from writing it.

[00:46:58] And obviously him being, you know, he was talking about the streets and just basically, you know, realizing that it ain't everything. Yeah. You know what I mean? And you know, life get real sometimes and you got to make real grown decisions. So, you know, I, one day, maybe one day I'll, I'll, you know, if you guys give me my own segment, I'll, I'll, I'll do it on Patreon. That's cool. I thought that was fun. Yeah. Nah, I really think that, that, that part should. Maybe I could call some of the homies up if you don't mind. I don't mind that. Sit on the couch with you?

[00:47:28] Face time them niggas and put them on the screen or something. I can do something like that. I can do mine. Yeah. Um, there was another, enough, enough is enough I had. I ain't, I ain't get too much about it, but I told y'all about it off, offline. It's, um, niggas gotta know when enough is enough with the drink and shit. Like this. Oh, the certain vices. Yeah. Certain vices. That's where you, that's, but then you really have to start talking to yourself and figuring

[00:47:56] out what are we, what is the real eternal issue that's causing me to, to either pick up the bottle or whatever the vices. Hmm. I told you about the story that my man's nigga got so drunk when the nigga started fighting us. Yeah. Yeah. Only y'all. This nigga started. Nigga said, y'all jump me. Nigga said, you're not hot with yourself. So the nigga, okay. I'll tell us for the pod. So. This is the main pod. I just wasn't. Yeah.

[00:48:23] I might want to talk too much about it, but so my, we, he lit, he lit, we out, whatever. We driving to another spot. We made a joke early in the day. So I guess that carried over in his mind. He felt a way about it, whatever. Boom. I apologize. Cool. So my other man is driving. The drunk one's in his passenger seat. Out of nowhere, bro. The nigga, my man's driving. The drunk one just pops on him. It just like, I made the joke to LA. The nigga LA was crying.

[00:48:53] If you ever watched, um, the scene of Muhammad Ali going, ah, the nigga started doing that. Like the nigga grabbed him and started, ah, yo boy. The nigga started doing it. I'm just like, yo bro, enough is enough. Like my nigga, the drinking shit, like these vices, like niggas, you gotta drink. Something's going on. You gotta drink. You gotta smoke. You gotta know when enough is enough. I'm in a spot. I had, shout out to Skrill's at Skrill's party. I had three drinks. I was like, yo bro, I feel like I should've stopped that too. Like enough is, I'm done.

[00:49:23] Like I can't drink how I used to drink. I'm like nah, I'm good. Yeah. I don't need this shit no more, my nigga. Like enough. I think we gotta get to the point where it's like, yo bro, you gotta hold yourself accountable. Like nah, this is, it's not- And hold your friends accountable when you see them going down that road. How many, how much grace do you give a person that just not, they not listening? Are you saying- Do I still fuck with you? Are you saying that you don't think- This goes to one of the topics I wanna talk about after the pod. Okay. Are you saying that you, you don't think he would've popped on the driver if he was sober? Yeah, I don't think that would've happened though.

[00:49:52] It would probably, if he felt a way it would've been in his mind like, I don't know how that nigga did that. I don't know how that nigga did that. I don't know how that nigga squabble. Cool. Yeah, but you gotta also think how, how illogical you're, you're thinking in that mindset. You're gonna pop, you're in a car- On the driver? And you're popping on the nigga who's controlling the vehicle. Oh my nigga, I kill that person! Like, nah. That was not smart. Yeah, that's not a, that's not a sober thought right there.

[00:50:19] Nigga pops, nigga fought on, yo, yo, that was just some shit I just can't- I wish Don could tell the real story. What's the forgiveness process of that? I think- Okay. Seeing a person do the work. That's another thing. That is another thing. So you, so let's say you have a, you have a drinking problem. Mm-hmm. And, and your drinking problem got so bad that it affected the friendship. Mm-hmm. And, before we just dead cut you off, we sit you down, we tell you about your drinking problem.

[00:50:49] Mm-hmm. We see you, we go out socially. Yo, Joe just got a water. Cause he got a, nigga drinking a motel. Motel, you know what I'm saying? He, you know, you see him doing the efforts of, alright, we spoke to him about his issues. Mm-hmm. He realized, yo, I have a drinking problem, or- I wouldn't put you in situations for you to even drink. Yeah, or he, or he check himself in the rehab, whatever helps. You know, you, when you see the person doing the work, then, then it's easy to forgive

[00:51:18] him because this person is no longer the same person. I think that might be my issue though. I'm too forgiven with shit like that though. You don't watch niggas do the work or- Nah, I just be like, yo bro, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Yo, pour some of that forgiveness in here. I ain't got it. I ain't gonna throw you off. You don't want this shit, bro. I ain't gonna throw you off. You don't. It sound good. It might balance it out though. Oh, maybe. Yeah, it might balance it out. Even the day after this shit happened, like I'm having a conversation with him and like, son is like tearing up a little bit.

[00:51:47] I'm like, oh my nigga, I ain't gonna front bro. Niggas, people start tearing around me. My nigga- Get emotional too. Yeah, bro. You got me. Huh? Nigga, Kwani said fuck that. Kwani said fuck you crying for. Nah, but, cause if I ain't saying about this though, so, the other man that he popped on, nigga said, I don't give a fuck about none of that shit. I feel you. I feel you. I feel you. And nigga said, I don't give a fuck about none of that shit, my nigga. Put the fucking work in. Do that shit. Ah, that was his approach.

[00:52:17] That's very, that's a blunt. See? Straightforward. That was straightforward. That was straightforward. Hey, nigga, blunt. Nah, nah, nah, I don't think that was blunt either, bro. I think that was straightforward too. Seriously? Just a little sauce, man. I don't give a fuck about none of that shit, my nigga. Yeah, I don't give a fuck about none of that shit. Do the fucking work. Nah, you can't do that. Do the work. I don't want to kick a nigga when he down, my nigga. You take fucking out, it's the same shit. Nah, you tell the person you don't give a fuck about anything nigga complaining about. It's crazy. Oh, that's what he- Remember he was venting, which trigger Don's emotion. Okay, yeah, I'll- And the nigga was like, yo, I don't give a fuck what you- That's not blunt, that's rude.

[00:52:47] That's part of the bluntness though. That's mad rude. Oh, okay. Cause it's like, what I'm gonna do, kick a nigga when he down? Like, I don't- Yeah, yeah. I didn't want to do that in that moment. So, I'm talking to him very softly, my nigga, but I'm telling you, I'm looking at him, look me in my eyes, bro. What? My nigga, you gotta stop this shit, bro. I will say, you're saying the driver was the one that was being blunt, right? Yeah. Did he forgive him past putting his life in danger yet? That could be him speaking from that place too. That- You know what I'm saying? That story is so- And he got popped on. I ain't gonna- The nigga, I'ma be honest with you, for me to forgive that is kinda crazy cause nigga put that life in jeopardy twice.

[00:53:17] Very- In that night. Very crazy. And niggas could've definitely gotten a shot that night, so that's another thing. Shot? Guns? Yeah. That's what I'm saying, Don ain't telling you the story. Yeah, my nigga, the story could go a different way. My nigga. Nah, nah, nah, nah. Fuck with it. He's not bad, he's furious, my nigga, he's mad because he been put in that situation- Yeah, right. I'm telling him, I know you mad, but chill, don't kick the nigga when he down, my nigga. Let me choke to the nigga.

[00:53:46] I'm telling him, bro, you gotta start getting up, you gotta do shit- Nah, fuck that, Don, stop choking that nigga like that! Nigga started wilding me out! I ain't gonna- I ain't gonna front. I ain't gonna front. I ain't gonna front. I understand, my nigga. But it's like- I understand the aggression. I understand the aggression, but I'm like, bro, like, me being mad at you ain't gonna make shit any better, bro. It could. Oh, for what? You wildin' nigga again, he gon' wanna drink! Or, listen, do you like seeing me like this? Mm-hmm.

[00:54:14] I'm like this because you tried to kill me, nigga. You care about me, my brother? Put the cup down. That's it! And I won't be this upset with you, but right now, you gon' get all this- All of this. Pause. Back it up, man. All of this is sick. Let me get a sneak peek. Nah, but yeah, so like, teaching and telling your friends enough is enough is just- I don't know, certain- some of them conversations be so tough, bro. Like, I be wanting to be so blunt or be straightforward, but it's like, yo, my nigga.

[00:54:44] And then imagine that shit fall on deaf ears, my nigga. I'm- How much- how much- Now you're back down. I'ma cut my mans off that I might not love you dearly, but I can't fuck with you no more. Absolutely- Enough is enough. Nigga. Hell yeah, you carrying dead weight. See, I'm very forgiving. I'm be like- That shit'll either bring you down or he'll bring himself down to the point where he won't even be here no more. Nigga almost got y'all killed. Twice. In one night. That's enough. I think I don't- that's another thing- I don't think I say enough is enough when it comes to friends and like the forgiving shit, but I be very- I forgive a lot.

[00:55:14] Yo, you can forgive. You don't gotta fuck with them, bro. That's another thing I gotta teach myself. I'm a lesson. Yeah. I love my nigga not. Forgiveness don't mean that we stay cool. Forgiveness mean that, you know, I let it go. It is what it is, but you're not in the circle. But I love niggas from a distance. That's that- Well, that works perfectly well. Like, my man's- That's a worse. My man's from high school. Uh, God bless the dead. I just found out his father passed away. I mean, we used to go- we used to go to, uh, his father's house after school and that's where we used to romp at.

[00:55:45] Tsss. So, finding out his pops died. Like, me and him, y'all know my thing. We don't- I don't reconcile my differences because of death. Yeah. But we didn't have a beef. We just outgrew each other in life. Mm-hmm. Um, but to hear that his pops died, you know, I reached out and I spoke to him. And, um, but I say all of that to say, like, sometimes enough is enough for the friendship to go in separate ways.

[00:56:15] Mm-hmm. But it ain't all bad. You can love- I can still love him from a distance. We still connected on social media. We may not talk every day. I certainly don't go to his house to romp anymore. Um, that's the Metz towel situation. Okay. But it was like, damn, like, you know, you still- you still care in a way, but you at a distance. But like- like I said, there was never no bad blood between him and I. You just gotta love- you gotta let people go. That's a difficult thing for me sometimes, man.

[00:56:45] Like, yo, boom, like- Then you gotta figure out where that stem from. Cause that means- that means there's a possibility that you got people in your life that you should've been let go. And they're still around. They just placeholders, huh? They just there. Mm-hmm. Gotta know where that- where that- what's that triggering from? I don't know, I don't- I- I can't- Damn, I got hope for Sabrina. Yeah, I'm not- I'm not- I'm not sure where that may stem from, but at the same time,

[00:57:10] if- if- if you got people around you that you already feel like enough is enough and you- and they're still there- I think it's me just having hopes that motherfuckers will change. Yeah, hope from afar, nigga. You been to Paris? Mm-hmm. I'm sure you put the quarter in the, uh, in the thing, the wishing well and walked away. A quarter? A lot of money. All right, Joe. Throw a nickel in that bitch. You know what I'm saying? You make a wish, you leave it, and hopefully it come true.

[00:57:41] Bring the- So do we reconcile after the changes have been made? That's up to you. That's up to you. And y'all- up to y'all, cause the person might also, uh, feel a way about that too, so. Damn. Well, well hopefully if- if people do the self-evaluation, you realize y'all was a miserable fuck to be around. Yeah. Or I wasn't- every time I- uh, every time I came around I was fucking up the vibe cause of my drinking. Then you could probably understand like, damn, I was a party pooper. I thought- He thought he- he thought he was alive and in the party.

[00:58:11] Yeah, you was- you was killing this shit. I mean we seen- you seen one of my mans like lit at the backyard shit like- I spoke to him once about that shit too. Nigga- nigga really had a point where enough is enough. The nigga- I'm in the gym this morning, the nigga's dead. Bright and early. Right after work. And sometimes, yo, something- something got a trigger in them- Mm-hmm. To make them wanna wake up. You can do so much. Yeah, yeah, yeah, facts. You can only say so much to somebody. Who don't hear must feel. What happened?

[00:58:39] Oh yeah, nah nah, I was just- I'm just thinking about- I was thinking about the situation before. Yeah, so. Enough is enough. Enough, enough be- That shit could just- Everybody's patience is thin- uh, not the same too. So, yeah enough- Yeah, my patience is fucking- And my enough. Yeah. You gon' hit my enough faster than you hit dogs. Yeah, I feel like I- I feel like I'd be just- I'd be chilling sometimes and be like, Oh, you know what? Alright. You was like, alright, my nigga, you had about two minutes- You're done. You're done. You're cut off. Yeah.

[00:59:08] I was never- I've never been a cut off person. Ever? Certain people- Me neither, I'm just saying. Certain people- I'll let- I'll let- I think I'll let shit just die. Nah, hell no. Cause then you gotta watch it die. Just cut them off before they die. I always say, yo, if it's- If you see me and you see I tell y'all I don't fuck with somebody, it's dumb. It's dumb. It's dumb. You ain't got nothing wrong, huh? It's dumb. No, I'm not saying I don't- I didn't say that. I'm saying- Never heard that voice.

[00:59:37] I'm saying- I'm saying- That's your argument. I'm saying- Based off of the statement you just made and the statement that I agree with, if I made the decision that I don't fuck with this person no more- It was dumb. You better go look into that. You better go look into that cause- Shit. Cause even- Another forgiving thing- I'm not- I didn't forgive but it's like- My cousin, he- He has his issues or whatever. Um, he said some shit to my mom. Like he was like, yo, I'm the-

[01:00:07] I'm the- He said, yo, I'm the- He said something like, yo, I graduated college, nigga. I did this, I did that. Look at your sons. He said some shit like that around some shit like that. Oh, it'll lifted him. And it's like, yo, bro, I- I looked at him at my grandmother shit and I looked at him. But I know he's not mentally well. Oh, okay. He wasn't in a position to be talking like that in the first place. My nigga was like- Okay. So I looked at him. Then I looked at Mills. Mills was like, what's up, cuz? I say if Mills was saying forgiving this nigga, I don't know. I'm like, yo, boy. Cause Mills is just like LA.

[01:00:35] Like, the forgiving shit, nah, fuck that, my nigga. Fuck, go let's die, nigga, go die. They twins, bro. I looked at the nigga, I said, yo, I ain't gonna- I don't really forgive this nigga for real, but like, I gotta keep it cordial. How do y'all keep it cordial? Do you know where that hostility came from? Why was he being so hostile with your mother? Mentally off. Okay, got you. So, exactly. So when you know certain things about certain people, like where certain things stem from, you don't take it too personal. What's that? Which agreement is that? Number two? Yeah, facts. Yo, my sister had that book. Oh, sure?

[01:01:04] When I went down there to get y'all roses, I saw it on the thing. He just left it there, he just throws it there. No, cuz, I mean- I don't mean no. I didn't want to invade my sister's personal space. It was on her, like me, so. But I might go borrow it. Nah, but yeah. Nah, but yeah, I've been thinking a lot of enough is enough lately. You at that age? You at that age, bro. Enough of going out and partying. I've been on that for a while, bro. Like enough of being around people. I don't want to be around people. Enough of sharing my space.

[01:01:33] Like, my cousin was like, yo, pull up, let's go to the bar. I'm good, my nigga. I think it's just when you enter a new stage in life, you realize certain old habits, certain old things and old behaviors are... It's not gonna come with you into this new life. And then when you enter the new life, yeah, you may be 35, but it's a new life. So you're still an infant. You're still in the infant stages of 35 or what this new decade is gonna look like.

[01:02:02] So you feel old, but it's a new thing that has to develop. Yeah. So when you enter... Okay, you live by yourself. Mm-hmm. Yeah, you're old, but you still gotta figure it out. Yeah. You're not gonna have everything on. You're new to living alone. Yeah, you're new. All right, cool. So now you're new to whatever this new stage in your life is. Yeah. And you gotta give yourself great time to figure it out. Where? Like, do you know how to change a light bulb?

[01:02:30] If the toilet clog, what you gonna do? What you gonna do? You know what I'm saying? Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters. You know what I'm saying? Go maintenance, nigga. Or that, or that. Go to the portal, nigga. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Or it's a portal. Yeah, that's just been on my mind lately. I just randomly jotted that down after thinking about the situation, having conversations about my family, having conversations about marriage, kids. You at that age, bro?

[01:03:01] It's coming. It's coming. It's coming. Nah, we'll be. All right. That was an LA joke, but yeah, man. I guess we just ended there. Yeah, facts. Enough. Enough is enough. Wrap this shit up.
